PayPal Knots Ties with Global Payments and Fastlane Checkout for Boosting eCommerce Growth

PayPal Holdings, Inc. has strengthened its partnership with Global Payments Inc. in an attempt to improve checkout experiences for users.

Under this partnership, Global Payments decided to offer U.S. merchants with enhanced PayPal and Venmo checkout options. Along with that, a faster guest checkout experience will be provided with PayPal’s Fastlane

The initiative has been taken to improve the shopping experience of consumers as well as help businesses boost their conversion rates on the platform.

The partnership between Global Payments and PayPal is now 15 years long and during this time they have supported millions of merchants around the world by offering a wide range of payment solutions. 

With PayPal’s extensive payment expertise, Fastlane has now enhanced the guest checkout process to help users complete their purchases with just one click.

The companies stated that this solution may enhance the checkout conversion rates by almost 50% relative to traditional card payment methods and reduce checkout times by over 28

According to Suzan Kereere, President of Global Markets at Paypal, “This partnership demonstrates the velocity by which we’re innovating, and the impact we can have on transforming the checkout experience for consumers and merchants a like.”

“We are delighted to expand our relationship with PayPal and integrate their new checkout solutions into our platform, enhancing the quality and quantity of payment choices offered to our merchant customers across the U.S. and helping them to maximize their ecommerce businesses”, said Bob Cortopassi, President and Chief Operating Officer at Global Payments.

All in all, it can be said that the partnership between PayPal and Global Payments aims to improve the online shopping experience for both consumers and merchants.
